She applied this knowledge to their individual situations to help them understand the meaning and purpose of their experiences and how those experiences would benefit their path going forward. As a devoted mother, she understood the uniqueness of both of her children, recognizing what made them different. During that time, she also worked part-time at the Roseland Theater, and later, for Peebles Department Store in Exmore, VA.Ī motivator, giver, and unsung hero, Linda was constantly pushing forward in a positive direction and always with a clear mind, an open heart, and an extended hand. She worked for Eastern Shore Printers for 40 years, where she wore many hats, but utilized most of her expertise processing and developing film negatives. For most of her adult life, Linda worked two jobs and unfailingly waived her own needs in order to support her family. Following graduation, she returned home to the Eastern Shore of Virginia, establishing residency in Accomack County. Raised in a military family, Linda moved often throughout her school years and graduated from Newark High School, in Newark, DE.

Linda Rose Jones was born Jin Nassawadox, VA to Marvin Roland Jones and Helen Mae Smith Jones. On Sunday, September 18, 2022, the angels softly whispered, “It’s time to go home.,” as Linda Jones Turner, 77, of Melfa, VA, earned her wings and began her journey to heaven, with her loving family at her side.
